First morning in France we were up bright and early to try out the local bakeries. There were a few in the village... of course we had to try them all out!!

5 weeks old

Maggie is now 5 weeks old. The midwife came to the house for a check up, to weigh her, and to let us know what types of services the health care system offers here in England. She is still in the 98 percentile for weight! She is now 12 pounds, 2 ounces. We also signed up for the baby massage course offered at the health clinic on camp with the other air force babies. Sounds like fun!

10 days old: Village wedding

Maggie's first party! Our friends in the village had a wedding reception at the Pub and village hall. The whole village was invited and volunteered to help with the wedding. Bill the policeman down the street got out his Bentley to drive the bride and our neighbors Mary & Linda did the flowers for the church and reception.

Welcome Home Maggie!



Margaret Jane Smith arrived via 'unplanned' c-section on September 5, 2007, at 10 pounds, 8 oz and 22 inches long! We are happy to report that we were able to come home from the hospital on Sunday and everyone is recovering well. Enjoy the pictures of Maggie!
