"good morning mommy! It is Christmas today! Hurry I know Santa brought me some presents! You were not a very good girl at swim class yesterday. I hope you got some presents too. But probably no.". We walk down stairs and when there are no presents because it is Not Christmas, she looks at me and says, "yup, no presents. Can you be a good girl today so we can get presents? Ok?"
"ohhh....Bobby.... She is such a good lollipop picker!"
"I love Tucson! Bobby lives here in the hotel!"
I bought her a tinkerbell watch yesterday. Might have been a big mistake. Everytime I tell her it is time to do something... She checks her watch then says, "Nope! Not time yet!"

Halloween
I have learned that turning three has brought about a new independence in our little girl. Gone are the days of her sitting still and letting us play dress up with whatever clothes we want. Also gone are the days when she would stand still and smile for the camera! On halloween she changed her costume 3 different times. First she wanted to be tinkerbell, then she wanted to be a ballerina, and finally a combination of ballerina and sleeping beauty wearing her tennis shoes and refusing to have her hair brushed! She LOVED trick or treating this year. She was so excited and was practising all weekend. The first door we went to, she ran up, rang the doorbell, turned around and ran away when they answered! So funny!

Our daddy snake butterfly friend
This little guy is a moth that we found eating our orange tree. He looks just like a snake! When he gets scared he puffs up and actually sticks out a red tongue. Super scary! Maggie named him "Daddy". After a week of living in a glass bowl on our counter it was time for 'daddy' to be released and head out to become a butterfly.
This is what he looked like on the leaf.
Early one morning about a week later, I was out for a walk and came home to find this little guy on our garage. I ran inside to tell Maggie that 'daddy' came back to see her! She was so excited!
