Christmas Morning

Maggie so excited to open her Hello Kitty box. She loves Hello Kitty! Well, she actually calls it Huckle Kitty.

Weather was really warm on Christmas Eve. Perfect for a hike in the Canyon.

Christmas Catch-up

We had a great Christmas. It was the first year that Maggie was so excited for Santa to arrive and bring her presents. She asked every morning for weeks if it was Christmas yet! Uncle Johnny, Sean, and Baba came for the holiday. We hiked in Sabino Canyon, enjoyed the hotel pool, and had wonderful tamales for Christmas Eve dinner. Christmas in the sun and warm weather was really nice.

Winter in Tucson

Winter begins today... It will be 74 degrees! Lots going on in our house this week. Getting ready for family to arrive and for Santa. This morning daddy and his girls made a sleigh and hopped on to deliver presents! Another big development... Baby sister is almost ready to crawl! Pics to follow.

Winter weekend

We have had a great 'winter' weekend in the desert! Some of the highlights:

We had so much fun at the squadron Christmas Party. The girls loved Santa! Baby K loved his beard and pulled and pulled at it.

We pulled into the zoo parking lot and there were 11 cars! I asked at the ticket booth what was going on. They lady said it was SO cold today that no one was at the zoo. It is currently 68 degrees and sunny! Apparently that is too cold in Az! Here is Maggie taking a break at the empty zoo.
