Problems with the camera

I will save all of the details, but there have been some problems uploading pictures from my camera. But then today it is working. So, I will take advantage and post as many Maggie pics as I can.

Pictures sent from Joy & Dick

We had a really great time with Joy & Dick while they waited for Patrick to arrive in England. Dick just sent this picture of us getting ready to head out for a traditional pub lunch. They finally did get to spend some time with Patrick... only a few days! Such is the Air Force life.

Another day, another development

Everyday we wake up and little miss Maggie has something new to show us. Yesterday it was clapping and deciding that she should feed herself. Notice the food on her forehead!

Finally some Easter shots!

Mom & Maggie at Easter dinner at Dori's house.
The winner of the 2008 'Smith Family Easter Bake Off' and the only entry this year. John thought it better to forfeit and sleep in.

Can you believe it? It snowed 3 inches on Easter Sunday. This is the view out the kitchen window. When will spring get here?!?

At the Farm

We took Maggie out to the Farm to see the new babies of spring. This little piggy was not too happy that John was in the pen with them. He kept on biting his legs! Maggie thought it was really funny.

There she goes...

Can you believe that Maggie will be 7 months next week! At her 6 month appt she weighed in at 19 pounds, 3 ounces and was 28 inches long. She has been meeting huge milestones over the last few weeks. As you can see from the picture she is off and crawling!!

Happy St. Particks Day!

I told you I would never get caught up... we are a few weeks behind at this point. Oh well! We had a great St. Patricks Day in Capitola with mom & dad. Maggie wore her special dress to celebrate.

Sunglasses

How funny are these sunglasses? Maggie had no clue what to do with them. She did not open her eyes at all. She finally got use to them, did not take the off, but did not open her eyes! Thank you to cousin Barbara & Aunti Judy for the glasses and for getting her ready for Mexico

March in Carmel

Blitz & Pinky come to visit! It was a little colder than Vegas.
The boys & Maggie having a serious discussion on the beach. My guess it involved food.

Spring time in Capitola

John getting ready for the waves & Maggie playing on the lawn.
Our neighbor Audrey & us before our early morning walk. Perfect weather and a beautiful view!
Mommy & Maggie out in front of the house.

Playing the piano with Grandpa

I am still in the process of posting some great shots from our trip. It might be months before I actually get caught up. Here she is with Grandpa learning how to play the piano.

Maggie's Baptism

While we were home, we had Maggie Baptised in the Catholic Church. Father John at the Carmel Mission was kind enough to perform the ceremony and we had almost 30 friends and family attend. Father John spoke of the wonderment of children and how amazing all of their new discoveries were. Maggie decided to chime in and made it clear that she agreed. Perfect timing. I forgot my camera at the ceremony so I hope that the 'paparazzi' were able to get some good shots. If you have never been to the Carmel Mission Basilica, it is beautiful and worth a visit. www. carmelmission.org

Uncle Johnny

Maggie loved Uncle Johnny...

Bantry protecting Maggie

Taking a break from our walk. Bantry was too cute protecting Maggie. Or resting...

Round at Pebble

It was so much fun to see John's brother Dave out golfing at Pebble. I think that they won.

California

Well, I actually don't have that many pictures from Ohio because the camera arrived a few days after I did. I hope that the rest of the Smiths have some pics to share from the fun 'Cinci themed' party at the clubhouse! So, here we are already arrived in California and a little bit warmer.

Maggie had her first introduction to Bantry dog...

This might only be funny to me!

These pictures might only be funny to me! John & I are all dressed up and ready to hit the steakhouse in Cinci. Stephanie started to take some pictures... but could not figure out how the camera worked. First picture was when things were going well... then we lost it and so did Steph.

Ohio

We have finally downloaded tons of pictures from our trip (ok... 562 to be exact). I will spare you most of the boring ones and will only post a few shining stars (maybe 100 or so...). Here we go: Maggie investigates Grandpa Bill's glasses
...meeting of the minds ...with Auntie SusSus
...with Great Gram Trudie

New cousins

Maggie finally got to meet many of her cousins while in Ohio. Here she is with Penny & baby Owen.

We are back!

We had a great trip! I will try to upload pics as quick as possible. Until the vacation pics are up... here is a picture of Maggie's Great Grandfather (the one on the right) Win Endicott. Of course much of the discussion at home was about who Maggie took after... do you think she looks like Win?
